Day 1

Arrival to Cairo airport , meet and assist at the airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2
Cairo – Luxor In the morning visit to the impressive treasures of the Egyptian Museum,including the artfacts of  Tutankhamen. Afterwards proceed to visit Citadel of Salah EL Din and Mohamed Ali Mosque. in the afternoon visit to the Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx. After visit you will be transferred to Giza station to board the sleeper train to Luxor. Dinner and overnight on board train. (D/B)
Day 3
Luxor Breakfast on board. Early arrival at Luxor station In the morning visit to the West bank of Luxor: (the Valley of the kings, temple of Queen Hatshepsut in Deir el Bahri and colossi of Memnon). In the afternoon visit Karnak temple. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.(B/-/D)
Day 4
Luxor – Aswan Early breakfast  travel to Aswan via Edfu and Kom Ombo. On the way visit the well preserved temple of Horus in Edfu and the double temple for Sobek and Haroeres at Kom Ombo. Afterwards proceed to Aswan. In the afternoon sailing trip around the islands of Aswan. Dinner and overnight in Aswan. (B/-/D)
Day 5
Aswan - Wadi Halfa (must be a Monday) After breakfast transfer to Aswan Port and embarkation on the ferry boat from Aswan to Wadi Halfa. Overnight on board of the ferry. (B/-/D)
Day 6
Wadi Halfa – Soleb Arrival in Wadi Halfa; after finishing the customs and immigrations formalities proceed via Abri to Soleb; overnight in camp. (B/L/D)
Day 7
Soleb - Sesebi - 3.Cataract In the morning visit the temple of Soleb, a Nubian variation of the large temples of the Pharaohs which is similar to Luxor temple; afterwards drive to Sesebi, an outpost of Pharaoh Akhenaton . Then crossing the Nile near Delgo and ca. 30 km drive to the 3. cataract, one of originally six rapids in the Nile. Free time to take photos and go strolling. Dinner and overnight in tents. (B/L/D)
Day 8
Tumbus - Kerma – Kawa After breakfast we drive to Tumbus. On the way stop to see the prehistoric rock glyphs in Sebu, we will see also the Egyptian inscriptions and a statue of Taharqa still lying on the ground in Tumbus. Afterwards drive to Kerma, the capital of the Nubian Kingdom in the 3rd and 2nd millennium B.C. The "Diffufa", extensive mud brick ruins, are only slightly smaller than the Pyramids of Giza; they are probably tombs. Drive through the small town of Kerma for shopping, then 120 km to el Kawa to visit the temple partially covered by dunes. Dinner & overnight in tents. (B/L/D)
Day 9
Old Dongola - El Kurru After breakfast we will visit Old Dongola which was formerly the capital of the Christian kingdom of Makuria. Visit to the citadel and the remains of a cathedral. Then on to the necropolis of El Kurru, 18 km. The subterranean tomb of King Tanwet Amany with the Pharaonic style. Dinner and overnight in tents. (B/L/D)
Day 10
Karima - Gebel Barkal – Nuri Breakfast- Drive to Karima to cross the Nile. Afterwards ascent of Gebel Barkal and visit to the great temple of Amun of Napata dating to the 12th century B.C. The temple was the most important religious centre of the Kushite pharaohs. Afterwards visit to Nuri necropolis with Pyramids from the 26th dynasty, among them the pyramid of pharaoh Taharq. Dinner and overnight in tents. (B/L/D)
Day 11
Deir Ghazali - Bayudawüste – Meroe Visit the monastery of Deir Ghazali, then drive through the Bayuda desert to Meroe. Visit to the vast pyramid necropolis – dozens of black Pyramids rise from the desert sand.Dinner and overnight in tents near the Pyramids of Meroe. (B/L/D)
Day 12
Meroe - Shendi – Musawwarat In the morning free time in Meroe. Afterwards drive to Shendi and on to Musawwarat As Sufra, which is an extensive temple area with rare elephant statues. Dinner & overnight in tents. (B/L/D)
Day 13
Musawarat - Naga – Khartum After breakfast visiting Musawarat proceed to the ancient temple precinct of Naga , where is the lion temple, a temple for Amun and a kiosk of the Roman period. Afterwards drive to Khartum. Dinner and overnight. (B/L/D)
Day 14
Khartum After breakfast we will start a city tour in Khartoum to visit to the National Museum to see the relocated temples of Nubia and the frescoes of the early Christian cathedral at Faras. Afterwards visit the Ethnographic Museum. Lunch at a local restaurant (optional), afterwards we will have a fantastic trip on the Nile using a motor boat for one hour. Back to hotel, overnight. Day 15
Omdurman After breakfast drive Omdurman to visit the tomb of the Mahdi and the colourful local market. (B/-/-)
Day 16
Final Departure Early at night transfer to airport and departure
