Day 1
Arrival in Cairo airport, meeting and transfer to hotel. Overnight.
Day 2
Breakfast Then visit Pharaonic Cairo:
The Egyptian Museum, the Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx. Overnight in your hotel.
Day 3
Breakfast. Visit Coptic Cairo, situated within the walls of the Roman fortress of Babylon, and see the church of St.Sergius, built in the fourth century over the Cave of the Holy Family, the Hanging Church (El Mo´alaqa), built at the end of the fifth century, and the church of St. George, a Greek Orthodox church built on the front gate of the fortress. Proceed to the Coptic Museum, containing a collection of rare antiquities and icons. Afterwards drive to Maadi to visit St. Mary´s Church, whence the Holy Family departed to Upper Egypt. Proceed to Coptic Patriarchate that displays the enshrined remains of St. Mark’s body. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 4
Cairo - Matareya – Mostorad – Sakha – Tell Basta – Alexandria.
Breakfast then tour to Tell Basta in the Nile delta; on the way visit the Tree of theirgin Mary at Matareya and the church of St.Mary´s Apparition in 1968 at Zeitoun. Proceed to Mostorad to visit Jesus´ Bath where the child caused a water spring to flow. Also visit the Church of the Virgin Mary at Sakha that enshrines a rock bearing footprints of the child Jesus (in the past Sakha was considered a holy site like Jerusalem). Then drive to Tell Basta to visit the miraculous Well of the child Jesus and remains of the Pharaonic era. Afterwards drive to Alexandria. Overnight.
Day 5
Alexandria – Wadi Natrun – Cairo.
Breakfast and start a City tour in Alexandria and visit to the New Library and the Coptic Cathedral of St. Mark, on the way back to Cairo visit some of the monasteries of Wadi El Natrun, which date back to the fourth century and were one of the stops of the Holy Family.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 6
Cairo – St.Catherine.
Breakfast then Drive to the Sinai Peninsula. On the way to St. Catherines monastery visit some of the stations of the Exodus of the Hebrews to Canaan, The Promised Land; Oyun Musa, one of the stations of the Exodus to visit the fresh water springs of Elim. Then arrive to St. Catherine monastery. Overnight in the St.Catherine.
Day 7
St. Catherine – Ain el Sukhna.
Breakfast then climb Mt. Sinai, one of the main stops of the Exodus, where the Lord gave the Ten Commandments to Moses. Afterwards visit the Greek orthodox monastery dating back to the time of Emperor Justinian, see the Basilica Church and the Burning Bush, finally visit the shrine of Aaron then drive to Ain Sukhna. Overnight.
Day 8
Ain el Sukhna - Monastery of St.Paul – Monastery of St.Anthony.
Breakfast and drive to Cairo On the way visit to the Red Sea Monasteries. Visit the monastery of St. Anthony, founder of monasticism, and the monastery of St Paul. Drive back to Cairo. Overnight.
Day 9
Transfer to Cairo airport and final departure
